The legal AI market is saturated with tools and starved of integration. Most firms have paid for a contract review tool, a document drafting tool, and a research tool, and not one of them is in the lawyer's workflow at the point of decision.

The right work is to embed AI into the matter - into the document management system, into the precedent library, into the timekeeping flow - so it shows up when it is needed and does not require a separate login. This is unglamorous and high-leverage.

Knowledge management has been an underdelivered promise in legal for two decades. The combination of vector search and modern LLMs makes the firm-knowledge use case finally credible. This is where we are leaning in.

Readiness → Build → Operate, on the economics of a law firm. Decisions usually run through an innovation or IT committee alongside practice-group leaders, and budgets are measured against billable-hour value and matter-level economics. Confidentiality and privilege are non-negotiable, so those constraints shape the engagement before functionality does.

We design around client confidentiality, privilege, and professional-responsibility rules from the start: strict data segregation, no training on client data, and human-in-the-loop review wherever the output touches legal work product. In a domain where a hallucinated citation is a real liability, accuracy and reviewability matter more than autonomy.

We start with a defined litigation workflow or firm-knowledge use case, keep a lawyer in the loop, and measure against time saved at matter level.
