Genitive.AI was started by senior practitioners who had watched too many AI projects collapse the moment they touched production. The thesis: in regulated industries, the firm that wins is not the one with the best model - it is the one that can ship a working solution into a system the business already depends on.

Mission

Why Genitive exists.

The AI consulting market is crowded with firms selling strategy and short on firms that ship. Most pilots die in the same place: between the demo that worked in a sandbox and the system that has to integrate with the business.

We exist to close that gap. We are senior enough to be in the room with COOs and CFOs, technical enough to build the system, and disciplined enough to walk away from work we cannot deliver.

Our bet is that the next generation of enterprise software will not be bought as platforms - it will be built as embedded solutions, one regulated workflow at a time, by teams that understand both the workflow and the model.

How we staff engagements.

Our core team is small and senior. We staff engagements with a principal plus a vetted network of practitioners - applied AI engineers, domain specialists, and industry operators - engaged per engagement rather than carried as overhead.

This is a deliberate choice. We would rather staff a small engagement with the right person than a large engagement with whoever is on the bench.
