The problem - A law firm faced regulatory and reputational risk from inconsistent AML/KYC assessments, guidance that drifted out of date, and incomplete approval records. Decisions were made against a moving target, with no reliable way to show later why a matter was cleared or who signed off.
What we built - A client-intake platform on a LangChain RAG workflow over current regulatory sources. Every risk flag cites the requirement it is based on, and that traceability is preserved per decision. Standardized due-diligence levels, solicitor sign-off, immutable audit snapshots, role-based access, and a grounded AML/KYC assistant that answers with citations.
The outcome - Intake becomes consistent, current, and defensible - every flag sourced, every decision reconstructable. The traceability that turns AI from a liability into an asset in compliance work.
